Breeding the lake patzcuaro salamander

Spawns mainly in winter, cued by shortening day length and the natural seasonal temperature cycle; eggs are laid singly or in loose groups on aquatic plants and other objects. Adults eat eggs and larvae, so remove eggs or adults.
