Hikari Micro Pellets

Small, soft, slowly sinking (Hikari also calls it semi-floating) micro-coated granule. Main ingredients fish meal, krill meal, soybean meal, flaked corn, cuttlefish meal, brewers yeast, wheat germ; with spirulina, astaxanthin, vitamins and artificial colours red 3 and yellow 5. Guaranteed analysis: crude protein min 43%, fat min 7%, fibre max 7%, moisture max 10%, ash max 17%.

For: Betta fish, tetras, barbs and other small-mouthed tropical fish

How to feed: Feed 2-3 times daily only what the fish eat completely in about a minute; slowly sinking. Bettas: about 6 pellets morning and night for a 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) betta, one at a time, never more than 6 per feeding.

Careful: Overfeeding harms water quality; remove uneaten food. Storage: sourced vet guidance (Merck) to keep dry food cool, dry and pest-proof and discard an opened container kept at room temperature after 2 months (rancidity, mould, mycotoxins). Overfeeding fouls water (manufacturer feeding notes).
