High-protein complete cichlid foods. Cichlid Colour Pellets (UK): fish and fish derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, yeasts, derivatives of vegetable origin, oils and fats, molluscs and crustaceans, minerals; protein 47%, fat 9%, fibre 2%, moisture 8%; natural colour enhancers. Cichlid XL Sticks (UK): floating sticks, protein 46%, fat 8%, fibre 2%, moisture 8%. US sticks/flakes/pellets carry vitamin C and the ProCare vitamin/biotin/omega-3 blend.
For: Cichlids: sticks and floating pellets for medium to large top/mid-water cichlids (e.g. firemouths, convicts); flakes for top- and mid-water cichlids including South/Central American and African cichlids. Herbivorous cichlids need a diet matched to them (Tetra also sells an algae cichlid pellet).
Careful: Overfeeding harms health and water quality; remove uneaten food. Match the food to the species' diet (herbivore vs carnivore); several cichlid types in one tank may need more than one food. Keep dry food cool and dry, replace about every 2 months, discard mouldy food.
