Active ingredient: Acriflavine chloride 3,200 mg + malachite green oxalate 79 mg per 100 ml
How to use (from the label): Shake. Single dose of 1 ml (22 drops) per 20 L. If there is no visible improvement after 7 days, filter 24 h over activated carbon and repeat. Aerate well, switch off UV, no activated carbon during treatment. Seven days after the last dose filter 24 h over carbon, then do a partial water change.
Careful: Not tolerated by cartilaginous fish (rays). Knifefish, loaches and catfish are very sensitive to malachite green. Overdosing or dosing too often damages soft-leaved plants. Do not combine with other medicines. Do not swallow; avoid contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes; it can stain.
Rules: Not for animals kept for human food. UK: sold under Schedule 6 (small pet animal exemption) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations. Switzerland: category D, Swissmedic 69823. Malachite green is not FDA-approved for food-producing aquaculture animals in the US.
Never mix medicines unless the label says it is safe, and remove shrimp and snails unless the label says they are safe.
