Pothos cultivar with green leaves and stems marbled with white; stems root easily in water.
Not an underwater plant. It is a land plant and rots if you plant it under water. Keep its leaves in the air, for example on the land part of a paludarium or with only its roots in the water.
Toxic to pets. Toxic to dogs and cats (insoluble calcium oxalates): oral irritation, burning of mouth and lips, drooling, vomiting, difficulty swallowing. NC State: medium severity, all parts, also causes contact dermatitis; a problem for horses too. No source found on toxicity to fish.
Check your local laws. Florida (USA): FISC (formerly FLEPPC) Category II invasive exotic; not an FDACS-listed noxious weed. UF/IFAS advises not planting it in the landscape. No other listing found. Never throw it into ponds, rivers or drains.
