Cause

A diet of only pellets, meat or lettuce without enough vitamin A.

What to do

See a reptile vet; switch to a varied diet with leafy greens and quality turtle food.

If a fish is badly ill, talk to an aquatic vet.

Varied diet; avoid only one food.
