Active ingredient: Seachem Stability: Blend of aerobic, anaerobic and facultative bacteria in spore form (Seachem does not call them 'nitrifying' but says they break down ammonia, nitrite and nitrate). API Quick Start: Live nitrifying bacteria. FritzZyme 7: Live freshwater-specific nitrifying bacteria
How to use (from the label): Seachem Stability: 5 mL per 40 L on day 1, then 5 mL per 80 L daily for 7 days; UV/ozone off. API Quick Start: 10 mL per 10 US gal (38 L); double for saltwater; also after changing water/filter media or after medicating. FritzZyme 7: New system: 119 mL (4 oz) per 10 US gal (38 L); maintenance 30 mL per 10 US gal; dechlorinate first; UV off before and 4 days after
Careful: Does not replace testing: monitor ammonia and nitrite daily while cycling; cycling still typically takes weeks.
Never mix medicines unless the label says it is safe, and remove shrimp and snails unless the label says they are safe.
